Appshaker Launches Augmented Reality Advertising for TV2 Hungary
Inde sister agency Appshaker is proud to announce the launch of the first Augmented Reality advertising for TV2 Hungary.
Using two AR markers placed onto the press advertising of their talent show Megastar, users can view a huge array of great 3D models from the show including the infamous microphone, the entire stage set and also a screen full 3D stars filling the screen - all locked to the printed marker and putting the brand right in the palm of your hand.
For those in Hungary, simply buy a copy of Blikk this week with the AR advertising inside and have some fun all hosted by the presenters Liptai Claudia and Till Attila.
Check it at www.tv2.hu/ar

Independiente rebrands flagship Vodafone store
Sadly, we've been all to quiet in the past weeks. Truth is, we've been so busy with work we just never have time to update the blog. Thankfully, we now a spare 5 minutes to announce our latest work on the rebrand of one of the flagship Vodafone stores in Budapest. The Allee store was completely redesigned by ourselves in partnership with good friends and swish retail design space makers, Monochrome.
Our brief, to revive the ageing visuals and identity in store has been a huge success, with a fresh look taking shape over the past weekend. New identity focuses around the "app" culture so apparent in todays mobile world. Find below our 3D mocks of the store, with new photos in the next few days.
Cheers!

Wired iPad app gets another makeover
Wired, fresh from finding out their all singing all dancing ipad app won't quite work, have finally got to grips with Objective C and launched. Not too much flash compiling going on here due to Jobs nixing Adobe's tools, but great to see all the same. Will keep you up to date on our sister agency, Appshaker's current development of iPad magazine platforms in the near future.
in the meantime, great promo from wired

Independiente co-launches Appshaker
Appshaker is a social and media application agency specialising in iPhone and Facebook applications. Since our launch a few weeks ago, we've sold two applications to clients in London, and will be proposing a swathe of new app based concepts in London over the coming weeks. Appshaker is relatively unique in this fledgling worldwide market as it possesses the ability to create entire concepts for brands from initial creative to full project execution, which is something we're very exciting for us.
Please hit up the Appshaker site to learn more, or get in touch. We'll try to keep you posted on progress as things happen.

Dazed creates movie with fashion credits embedded inside
As an ex staffer we're a touch biased, but great to see print intertwining with digital on the new issue of Dazed & Confused. Augmented reality inside the mag interacts with your Mac to find out exactly who is wearing what in the latest issue's fashion pages... here's a preview vid, sadly unembeddable...

Multi-touch? It's so 3 years ago...
With all the hype building about the supposed Apple tablet next week (it will be called iCanvas, is our prediction), it's worth noting just where the world was at with multi-touch 3 years ago. If Apple can employ this kind of gesture led interface, they'll have a hit on their hands....

Tiger Woods Finally Goes Public - Sponsors Quiver...
Well it's finally happened, one half of Tiger Woods' PR team has won out and convinced him to speak before the damage gets any worse. The "no show" which resulted in several big brands leaving the sinking ship has been abandoned for a topless Vanity Fair photo shoot by Annie Leibovitz, complete with a topless weight lifting Woods.
God only knows what sponsors must be thinking, although one wonders if Nike has not already commissioned their agency for comeback campaign... $$$$$$$
